Pickett Slater Harrington is dedicated to catalyzing positive social change. He is the founder and managing principal of Joltage, a social change design firm that champions innovative solutions to complex social issues. Pickett has spearheaded transformative projects aimed at promoting sustainable practices and enhancing community well-being. HIs experience includes leading the community engagement process for the revitalization of Lexington Market in Baltimore, MD, where he facilitated the development of a comprehensive community engagement process and vision around food, place and culture. Pickett has served as faculty for the Master of Art Social Design (MASD) at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA, one of the first programs of its kind. He is also a Maryland Master Naturalist dedicated to understanding and preserving the state’s ecological diversity. With a passion for fostering holistic models, Pickett is committed to driving meaningful change at the intersection of social innovation, environment and food systems.
